This unit was actually set up with my consultation. I participated in feasibility making, planning and selection of the machines required, their imports, erection of the machines and equipment, Products planning, designing and packaging for the products, launching strategies, promotion materials, advertising, publicity, their pricing, the distribution channels, the actual distributors, hiring and training of sales and marketing force.

The Enterprenuer Planned a new unit for manufacturing of writing Instruments. I was hired to conduct all its initial operations such as making a feasibility, select, import and erect machinery and equipments, Plan Product and design packaging. Made launching strategies, including selection of distribution channels, physically select the distributors, designed and implemented the promotional strategy consisting of all meduims such as Electronic, Print and outdoor and POS. Hire the Marketing and Sales teams and trained them. Assigned targets in view of the corporate objectives and split them to area wise, product wise, salesperson wise. Devise the retail audit system along with other feedback systems, Monitor all sales and marketing activities and established the brands such as Schmuck, Mercury, Sani etc
Stayed in this company for around 16 Years. Main responsibilities were to look after the Sales and Marketing activities of the company. During stay sales were increased from 200 millions annually to 800 millions annually. Established most of the existing brands such as Piano, Piano Crystal, Rondo, lore, Coro at a higher price as compared with the other competitors. Established Retail Audit System to get feed back over the marketing and sales issues. Established marketing research department. Established different type of distribution channels suiting to the needs of the area. Maintained Market Leadership throughout this period
